US v. Robert Bales, prosecuted by partner Jay Morse, goes to ACCA

Jay Morse, who was the lead prosecutor in the successful prosecution of Robert Bales, was recently quoted in an article in the Seattle Times reporting on Bales’ pending appeal. In 2012, Robert Bales left his American base in Kandahar Province and murdered 16 Afghan men, women, and children. The Army Court of Criminal Appeals will hear his case Tuesday, August 8th.
